Assess students' ability to translate real-world situations into systems of linear equations, choose and apply appropriate solution methods (substitution, elimination, or matrix methods), and interpret and justify results in context. Problems will include mixture, rate/work, cost/revenue, and geometric constraint scenarios; students must set variables, form equations, solve, check feasibility (e.g., nonnegativity, integer constraints), and explain the meaning and limits of solutions.
