Assess students' ability to predict and test whether common classroom and household objects (e.g., rock, sponge, plastic bottle, coin, wooden block) sink or float; students will make predictions, conduct simple hands-on tests in water, observe outcomes, record results with pictures or checkmarks, and explain outcomes using basic ideas of buoyancy and material properties. Designed for Pre-K–Grade 2 with emphasis on applying observation and evidence to support conclusions.
