Scope includes postwar conferences and policies (Yalta, Potsdam, Truman Doctrine), formation of blocs and alliances (NATO, Warsaw Pact), major crises and conflicts with years (Berlin Blockade 1948–49, Korean War 1950–53, Hungarian Uprising 1956, Berlin Wall 1961, Cuban Missile Crisis 1962, Prague Spring 1968, Vietnam War, Soviet–Afghan War 1979–89), détente and arms-control milestones (SALT, INF), leadership transitions through Gorbachev, and the revolutions and dissolution of 1989–1991. Quiz items will require matching events to dates, chronological ordering, and identifying key turning points.
