Assess students' understanding of how vaccines engage innate and adaptive immune responses, including innate recognition and APC activation, the role of inflammation and adjuvants, antigen presentation to T cells, B cell activation and antibody production, class switching and memory formation, and how major vaccine platforms (live-attenuated, inactivated, subunit, conjugate, mRNA, viral vector) influence these processes.
