Assess students' ability to apply cost–benefit analysis and environmental impact assessment to a proposed urban greenway by calculating net present value and benefit–cost ratio (including discounting and sensitivity analysis), monetizing ecosystem and health benefits using appropriate non-market valuation methods, identifying and quantifying ecological, hydrological, air/noise, and social impacts, proposing mitigation and monitoring measures, evaluating stakeholder and regulatory trade-offs, and making a justified recommendation. Data will be provided; students must state assumptions, document methods, and interpret trade-offs between economic and environmental outcomes.
