Assess students' ability to design a graduate-level mixed-methods evaluation for a community-based health intervention: specify a clear causal estimand, choose and justify an appropriate causal identification strategy (e.g., RCT, DiD, RD, IV, propensity-score methods), outline sampling, measurement and power considerations, plan qualitative data collection and analysis (e.g., thematic/process evaluation), describe how quantitative and qualitative findings will be integrated to support causal claims, address ethical/community engagement issues, and discuss limitations and sensitivity analyses.
