Assess learners' ability to apply epidemiologic methods to investigate and control infectious disease outbreaks through scenario-based tasks covering case definitions, surveillance and reporting, descriptive epidemiology, calculation of attack rates and measures of association, interpretation of epidemic curves, design of analytic studies, identification of bias/confounding, contact tracing strategies, selection of control interventions (isolation, vaccination, prophylaxis), and clear public health recommendations. Include data interpretation and brief written justification of chosen actions.
