Assess students' ability to decompose whole numbers up to 10 (inclusive) into two or three parts using number bonds, drawings, manipulatives, and equations. Tasks include finding all possible part-part-whole pairs for a given total, solving missing-addend and subtraction-based problems, comparing different decompositions, and explaining reasoning.
