Assess students' ability to analyze how common human activities (littering, lawn runoff, feeding wildlife, shoreline changes) affect a local pond's water quality, plants, animals, and food webs. Students will interpret simple observational data (water clarity, plant cover, counts of insects/fish), identify cause–effect relationships, predict short-term ecological changes, and suggest age‑appropriate mitigation or stewardship actions.
