Assess students' ability to analyze how physical, chemical, and molecular factors influence enzyme activity, including temperature, pH, substrate concentration, cofactors/coenzymes, competitive and noncompetitive inhibitors, and structural denaturation; interpret Michaelis–Menten parameters (Vmax, Km) and reaction-rate graphs, design basic experiments and controls, and predict outcomes of perturbations to enzyme systems.
