Assess students’ ability to analyze how physiological (e.g., genetics, metabolism, puberty), behavioral (diet, physical activity, sleep, screen time), and environmental (family, school, neighborhood food access, marketing) contributors interact to influence adolescent obesity; include interpreting short case scenarios or data to identify interacting risk and protective factors, distinguish modifiable vs nonmodifiable influences, and propose age-appropriate, evidence-based individual and community interventions.
