Evaluate learners' ability to analyze environmental, clinical, and systemic factors that drive the emergence and spread of antibiotic-resistant infections in healthcare settings—including antibiotic prescribing and stewardship, hand hygiene and PPE compliance, device- and procedure-associated risks, patient colonization and transfers, environmental contamination, and surveillance gaps—and to interpret basic outbreak/surveillance data and recommend prioritized, evidence-based prevention and control strategies.
