Assess students' understanding of complex numbers on the complex plane: plotting and identifying real/imaginary parts, computing modulus, argument and conjugate; interpreting addition/subtraction as vector operations and multiplication/division as rotation and dilation via polar form; converting between rectangular and polar coordinates; using conjugates to simplify quotients and find reciprocals; and applying De Moivre's theorem to compute powers and roots. Problems will require algebraic computation and geometric reasoning.
