Test students' ability to analyze how stormwater runoff (oil, fertilizers, and trash) from different land uses (urban, agricultural, residential) alters pond water quality—measured by parameters such as turbidity, dissolved oxygen, pH, and nutrient levels—and how those changes cascade through the pond food web; assess skills in interpreting simple data sets or charts, identifying cause–effect relationships, and proposing age-appropriate mitigation strategies.
