Assess graduate-level competency to evaluate the effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and equity impacts of school- and community-based physical activity interventions designed to reduce childhood obesity in socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. Test takers should critically appraise evidence from randomized and quasi-experimental studies, implementation evaluations, and economic analyses; interpret outcome measures (BMI, body composition, activity, fitness), ICERs and budget impacts; analyze distributional/equity consequences and contextual moderators; and synthesize clear policy, practice, and research recommendations using implementation and equity frameworks.
