Assess students' ability to analyze enzyme inhibition mechanisms (competitive, noncompetitive, uncompetitive, mixed) using Michaelis–Menten and Lineweaver–Burk kinetics: determine Vmax and Km from rate vs substrate concentration data and from double-reciprocal plots, interpret changes in slope and intercepts, calculate Ki where applicable, identify inhibitor type from given datasets/plots, and recommend appropriate experimental controls and assay conditions to distinguish mechanisms.
