Assess students' understanding of how land use types (urban, agricultural, natural) and pollution sources (point and nonpoint: nutrients, sediments, metals, hydrocarbons) interact with stormwater processes and management to determine local water quality. Test concepts of runoff generation, pollutant transport, infiltration and attenuation, plus evaluation of BMPs/green infrastructure, interpretation of simple data or maps, and recommendation of mitigation strategies for given scenarios.
