Assess educators' ability to evaluate student analysis of how sand, clay, and potting soil affect seed germination and early growth in a classroom garden by defining a simple experimental design, identifying independent/dependent variables and controls, guiding age-appropriate observation and recording (germination rate, seedling height, vigor), interpreting results in terms of soil texture, drainage and water retention, and formulating evidence-based planting recommendations for Pre-K–Grade 2 with appropriate teacher support.
