Evaluate evidence behind concussion management protocols in high school contact sports. Assess study quality and epidemiology, compare risk–benefit trade-offs of removal, rest, and graduated return-to-play strategies, analyze prevention, surveillance, and resource constraints, and consider legal, ethical, and implementation policy implications for school stakeholders. Students will interpret sample data, critique existing protocols, and justify evidence-based policy recommendations that balance adolescent brain health, equity, and practical feasibility.
