Assess students' ability to identify and analyze rhetorical appeals (ethos, pathos, logos) and key stylistic devices (diction, tone, sentence variety, parallelism, imagery, repetition, rhetorical questions, anecdote) in persuasive essays or excerpts; evaluate effectiveness for audience and purpose and propose targeted revisions or produce revised paragraphs that strengthen argument, balance appeals, and improve clarity and style for Grade 9–12 learners.
